ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT LACÉLIE DEEPREPAIR+ ANSWERED
Your skin, Explained FAQS
What makes DeepRepair+ different from a regular moisturizer?
-
DeepRepair+ targets dryness and early aging on multiple levels. Emollients and Shea Butter cushion the surface, humectants like Sodium Hyaluronate and Glyceryl Glucoside draw in water, and barrier-supportives help reduce transepidermal water loss so skin stays comfortable longer. Ectoin, Ergothioneine, and Vitamin E provide stress and antioxidant support, while oil-soluble Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate) helps brighten and maintain a more even look.
How should I use it in my routine, and how much do I need?
+
Apply at night as the final skincare step after serum. Warm a pea to almond-sized amount between your fingers, then smooth over face and neck. If you use it in the morning, follow with sunscreen. For very dry skin, layer a hydrating serum first. Consistency matters; daily use helps maintain moisture balance and barrier resilience.
Is it suitable for mature or aging skin?
+
Yes. DeepRepair+ was designed for dry, very dry, and mature skin that needs both nourishment and visible anti-aging support. The rich texture cushions skin with Shea Butter and Sodium Hyaluronate, while Ectoin and Beta-Glucan help reinforce the barrier, improve elasticity, and soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles. With consistent use, skin feels deeply moisturized, more resilient, and appears smoother and more youthful.
Can I pair it with retinol, acids, or prescription treatments?
+
Yes. Apply water-based serums first, allow them to absorb, then seal with DeepRepair+. It works well over retinoids to reduce dryness and improve tolerance. If you use exfoliating acids, apply them first, wait for absorption, then follow with DeepRepair+. The cream already includes an oil-soluble Vitamin C; if you also use a separate vitamin C serum, alternate use or apply that in the morning, then use DeepRepair+ at night. Always use SPF during the day.
When will I see results, and what should I expect?
+
Hydration and comfort are immediate. Within 1 to 2 weeks many users notice a calmer look with fewer dry patches. Around 4 weeks the texture often looks smoother and fine dry lines appear softer. With ongoing use over 8 weeks, skin typically looks more even and resilient. Individual results vary with routine, climate, and baseline skin condition.
